Publication Fee

The Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology (TURJAF) charges only one publication fee, namely an Article Processing Charge (APC).

The journal does not charge:

  • Manuscript submission fees;
  • Page charges;
  • Charges for colour figures or tables;
  • Charges for supplementary materials;
  • DOI assignment fees; or
  • Manuscript withdrawal fees.

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

Payment of the APC has no influence on the editorial evaluation, peer review process, acceptance, or rejection of a manuscript. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance of the manuscript.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The APC is charged per accepted manuscript, regardless of the number of pages, figures, tables, or supplementary files.

The applicable APC is determined according to the corresponding author's country, based on the current World Bank Income Classification.

* Country classifications are based on the current World Bank Country and Lending Groups. The applicable APC is determined according to the corresponding author's country at the time of manuscript submission. As the World Bank updates these classifications annually, the most recent classification available at the time of submission will be applied.

Discounts and Waivers

TURJAF does not currently offer APC discounts or fee waivers unless otherwise announced by the Editorial Board.

Payment

Payment instructions are sent only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. No payment is requested during manuscript submission, editorial evaluation, or peer review.
