The Editor-in-Chief has overall responsibility for the scientific quality of the journal and makes the final editorial decision on all manuscripts. The Editor-in-Chief oversees editorial policies, publication ethics, and the integrity of the peer review process.

Editorial Office Coordinator
The Journal Secretary supports the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board in the administrative and technical management of manuscript submissions and publication processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Initial administrative and technical screening of submissions
- Verification of author information, ORCID identifiers, files, and required declarations
- Checking compliance with TURJAF's submission, formatting, similarity, and ethics requirements
- Communication with authors regarding missing documents or information
- Assistance with peer-review and publication processes
- Monitoring manuscript status and editorial deadlines
- Maintaining editorial records and correspondence
Role: The Journal Secretary does not make editorial or peer-review decisions. Manuscripts that pass the initial check are forwarded to the appropriate editor for further evaluation.
All correspondence and manuscript-related information are handled confidentially in accordance with TURJAF's publication ethics and privacy policies.

The Section Editors are organized into subject-specific sections reflecting the journal's scope, including Animal Production, Crop Production, Agricultural Technologies, Agriculture and Environment, Food Technologies, Agricultural Economics, Veterinary Science, and Aquaculture. This structure ensures that each manuscript is assigned to an editor with appropriate disciplinary expertise.
Section Editors are responsible for managing the peer review process within their respective subject areas. Their responsibilities include conducting an initial scientific assessment, selecting qualified independent reviewers, evaluating reviewer reports, monitoring the revision process, and making editorial recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief.
Section Editors contribute to maintaining the scientific quality, editorial integrity, and timely processing of manuscripts. The final editorial decision for all manuscripts rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.
