Journal Sponsorship

The Turkish Journal of Agriculture – Food Science and Technology (TURJAF) is published by Turkish Science and Technology Publishing (TURSTEP).

Sponsorship

TURJAF does not receive financial support from any commercial company, industrial organization, or external sponsor that may influence its editorial decisions. The journal operates independently in accordance with internationally accepted principles of scholarly publishing and publication ethics.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made solely by the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Section Editors, and reviewers based on the scientific quality, originality, significance, and ethical compliance of submitted manuscripts. Sponsors, publishers, advertisers, or any external organizations have no influence over editorial decisions, peer review, manuscript acceptance, or publication scheduling.

Funding and Revenue

The journal is supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs), which are collected only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication. No submission fee is charged.

Revenue obtained from APCs is used exclusively to support journal operations, including manuscript processing, editorial management, production, online hosting, long-term archiving, and the continuous improvement of publication services.

Advertising

TURJAF does not allow advertising or commercial promotional content to influence editorial decisions. Any advertisements displayed on the journal website are clearly separated from editorial content and do not affect the peer-review or publication process.

Conflict of Interest

Neither the publisher nor any financial supporter participates in editorial decision-making. Editors, reviewers, and authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and COPE principles.

Transparency

TURJAF is committed to maintaining transparency regarding its ownership, management, funding, sponsorship, and editorial processes. The journal regularly reviews and updates its policies to comply with the requirements of international indexing databases, including DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, and TR DIZIN.
